Undergraduate Medical Education
We are a group that is open to everyone with an interest in teaching Palliative Care to medical students. The co-leads are Prof John Ellershaw (Liverpool) and Dr Stephen Barclay (Cambridge).
We run annual national conferences and have an email list by which we keep in touch with group members.

APM Neurological Palliative Care
The group was established to encourage the development of palliative care for people with progressive neurological disease, in particular motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and Huntington’s disease.
Study Days are held every 1-2 years. There is the opportunity to discuss issues such as difficult cases by e-mail with other group members, and a new development for 2016 is a newsletter, which will be distributed twice a year.
New members are welcome – please contact the co-ordinator Dr Aruna Hodgson, Consultant in Palliative Medicine at Wigan and Leigh Hospice
