APM Vice President

Applications are invited from APM members for the post of APM Vice President to serve from March 2027 – March 2029 running through to President; March 2029 – March 2031.

The Vice President of the APM supports the President and other Officers (Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and President Support) in ensuring that the activity of the Association works seamlessly, is in line with the Association’s strategic direction and meets the charity’s responsibilities as outlined in the APM Governing Document. The Vice President is an Officer of the Association and, as such, is a Trustee of the APM registered with the Charity Commission.

The Vice President role is agreed by ballot of all voting APM members. Once elected, the successful candidate will take up office at the APM Annual General Meeting (subject to member ratification) in March 2027 for a period of two years. They will subsequently take up the office of APM President when this becomes vacant at the AGM in 2029, subject to ratification at the AGM. The President also serves for a period of two years.

If you would like to apply for the post, please return the nomination paper with a personal statement of no more than 200 words describing yourself and why you are standing for this position. This will be sent out with the ballot paper.

The deadline for returning nomination forms to the APM at office@compleat-online.co.uk is 5pm on Friday 13th November 2026.

Please note that you will need to obtain the signatures of one nominator and one seconder (both APM members with voting rights) to confirm your nomination. Due to the commitment involved with taking this post, you must discuss nomination with your employer prior to submission, as you will be required to confirm that they will support you in this post if you are appointed.
