Senior Clinicians Development Series
Study Day 1: Unplanned Palliative Care – what works, and what doesn’t?

An APM Professional Development Study Day
Location: Cicely Saunders Institute, King’s College Hospital, London
Date: 12th June 2024

An exciting study day hosted by the APM Education and Training Committee, focusing on unplanned palliative care. The day includes a review of different models, both hospital and community, alongside a review of evidence and impact to support service developments. High calibre speakers confirmed, and lots of opportunities for discussion and sharing of best practice. We are keen to share expertise from round the country by having short presentations from participants on service models of unplanned care: rapid response, telephone advice, hospice at home or other models. Please let us know if you would like to share a model of care.

Target audience palliative care consultants, SAS doctors and other senior specialists.
