This session will give an overview of palliative medicine training, emphasising the distinction between specialist and generalist palliative care. We will discuss how to prepare for training, including the gaps in training for new starters and the benefits of palliative medicine training. We will talk about:

7. How to get the most from rotations, with insights from current trainees
8. Signpost to resources, including what the APM has to offer its members
There will then be time for discussion, with members of the Trainees’ Committee taking questions from the audience.
