Symptom Control Mini Series: Part 2
Title: Nausea and Agitation
Session outline: This session is aimed at pre-specialty doctors and medical students. We will be using realistic cases you will find on the day-to-day of the medical wards, hospices and community settings you are working in, to aid you with practical management of nausea and agitation. There will be a live Q&A after each talk.
Speakers: Dr Sarah Longwell (Nausea) and Dr Becky Ogundele (Agitation).
Dr Sarah Longwell: Hello, my name is Sarah and I’m a ST6 in palliative medicine working in Yorkshire and Humber. I’m also the communications coordinator for the APM trainees committee. When not working I enjoy spending time outside with my two girls, rain or shine!
Dr Becky Ogundele: Consultant in Palliative Medicine working in Nottinghamshire in her first consultant post. She is the current chair of the APM Trainees Committee and has been a member of the PCC Organising Committee for the past two years and previously on the Education and Training Committee.
