Stuck for ideas? A practical guide to introducing new therapeutic options

Aim

To provide a framework to guide introducing new therapeutics to clinical practice.

Objectives

  1. To discuss the indications and applications for using clonidine and neostigmine in clinical practice.
  2. To outline considerations for using other new therapeutic in clinical practice
  3. To explore ethical considerations with using off licence/novel agents for managing symptoms encountered in palliative care.
  4. To consider and troubleshoot practical issues associated with using these drugs.
