Aim
To provide a framework to guide introducing new therapeutics to clinical practice.
Objectives
- To discuss the indications and applications for using clonidine and neostigmine in clinical practice.
- To outline considerations for using other new therapeutic in clinical practice
- To explore ethical considerations with using off licence/novel agents for managing symptoms encountered in palliative care.
- To consider and troubleshoot practical issues associated with using these drugs.
