Part 2 – Hospice Doctors Medical Updates Study Series
A Virtual APM Event, organised with the Education and Training Committee
7 and 21 September 2023
Introduction
This event is intended for doctors (Specialty Training Registrars, SAS doctors, Consultants, any other grade of doctor), as well as Clinical Nurse Specialists, working in hospices or with palliative medicine patients in the community. The aim is to refresh and update knowledge of the management of medical problems which may present with palliative patients. The talks will be aimed at the level of management possible in the hospice setting, but also update on current management in the acute setting if transfer for more intensive treatment is in line with the patient’s advanced care wishes.
The event will be delivered in two parts:
Part I – 7 September 1.20pm – 5.00pm
Part II – 21 September 9.20am – 1.00pm
The recordings from this study series will be made available to registered delegates only.
