Open to doctors with provisional or full GMC (or IMC in the Republic of Ireland) registration on one of the following categories: F1 or F2, Intern (ROI) Core Medical Trainee, Core Surgical Trainee, ACCS Trainee, Senior House Officer (SHO), GP Trainee, Speciality ST1, Registrar other than SpR (ROI), IMG’s (International Medical Graduates) or on a year out of training at any point in career prior to entry to specialist training. Foundation and Middle Grade members would be verified by GMC or IMC number.
The APM stands as a representative organisation for its members, ensuring that their perspectives are acknowledged and their interests protected in all matters related to Palliative Medicine practice. We are your legal, political, economic, training or workforce-related advocates.
In addition, we actively engage in ongoing national discussions and critical subjects such as assisted dying, funding for palliative care, clinical nutrition and hydration, assisted ventilation, and Palliative Medicine Training.
The APM is committed to keeping our fees affordable for potential members. That’s why our Foundation & Middle Grade Doctor Membership package is an annual fee of £40, while the Foundation & Middle Grade Doctor Membership with Palliative Care Formulary Package is available for £100. Our membership fees are prorated monthly.
