GMC Assessment Development Pilot – paid opportunity
The GMC are recruiting palliative medicine doctors to help test exam content.
Date: Friday 6 December 2024
Time: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
Location: London or Manchester
Remuneration: £175 plus standard class travel expenses (and an overnight stay if applicable)
This is a great opportunity to get exam practice and gain extracurricular experience for applications and appraisals. You’ll receive £175 for taking part, as well as your test scores and a certificate for your portfolio.
You’ll sit a two hour written exam then provide feedback on the assessment material. The assessments will later help us check whether a doctor is fit to practise, and your feedback helps us ensure the tests are reliable, set at the right level, and fair to the doctor.
To attend, doctors must be FY2 to Consultant level, and have worked in palliative medicine for four months or more during the past two years.
