APM Juniors Committee Update

The APM Juniors Committee have been working hard in the last few months. We have just had their annual conference: Kaleidoscope of Care with a fantastic range of speakers, different breakout rooms for different talks and audience engagement. We had a fantastic 83 sign ups pre-event with almost ¾ attending live on the day, and people continuing to sign up for the watch back this week!

We have had some fantastic talks as part of our Symptom Webinar Series with our upcoming final in the series in November on Palliative Care Emergencies. We have created our Padlet page condensing all our resources into an easy to access space, and continued to evolve communication with our members and beyond with our monthly newsletter, utilising email communication to medical schools and deaneries around the UK. We are also developing our links with medical schools around the country with representatives from different medical schools, as well as developing direct mentorship schemes for our members (watch this space). It has been an exciting time for myself to take over as Chair of the APM-Juniors Committee.

We are really keen to continue to develop access and engagement to those that would benefit from being part of the APM Juniors group – if you have any questions, or would like to be involved in any way do please get in touch!

Thank you to all those that support our group – we are so encouraged by the feedback and responses to the work we are doing, and it has been an exciting time for myself to take over as Chair of the APM-Juniors Committee.
