Book Club

The APM is proud to announce, in association with Rachel Clarke, the 11th Hour Book Club. Join us on the 20th September at 7:30 pm for our first virtual session, with author Raynor Winn.

This is a virtual evening session where we will meet and discuss with the author a book we have found meaningful and relevant to the palliative care community. It is a free and open event and there will be the opportunity to share your perspective and views.

For our first virtual session, we are enormously pleased to announce we are talking to Raynor Winn the author of 3 books ’The Salt Path’, ‘The Wild Silence’ and her new book ‘Landlines’ – We are discussing her first book ’The Salt Path’. A story chronicling a very long coastal walk outlining themes of homelessness, terminal illness and as I read it, adventure.

As with all book clubs, we encourage you to please read ’The Salt Path’ prior to the event. This book is available on Amazon, however, we would encourage you all to support your local book shops.
